Dogies head into final game of the season, on ‘pink out’ and senior night

Tonight Newcastle Dogie Football heads into their last game of the 2019 season. The Dogies will host the Buffalo Bison at Schoonmaker Field. The game is also ‘Pink Out’ night in honor of breast cancer awareness and is also Senior Night!

Buffalo defeated the Dogies last season, 56 to 8. Prior to that October 19, 2018 encounter, it had been quite awhile since the Bison and Dogies had faced off. Before that game the two teams hadn’t played a single game against each other since all the way back to 2004.

Historically,  the Bison have had the Dogies number, winning every contest since 1984. Two times Newcastle would come close to defeating Buffalo in regular season games, once in 1999 and once in 1985. The Dogies would lose by only one point in both those match-ups.

Let’s get out tonight in support of the Dogies in their final regular game of the season, and pack the stands for a ‘Pink Out’ for cancer awareness and in honor of Senior Night! The game is set for a 6 pm kickoff!

But, if you can’t make it to the game you can listen live, online here at KASLRadio.com or tune your radio to 1240 AM KASL.
