Dogies, Wolves Battle Tonight, Both Seeking A Much Needed Conference Win

Newcastle   –   We have arrived at the half-way mark of the 2018 High School football season, and both the visiting Newcastle Dogies and the hosting Moorcroft Wolves, will be looking for a much needed conference win when the teams take the field tonight.

The Newcastle Dogies (0-2, 1-3 overall) will battle Moorcroft (0-2, 1-2 overall) in a conference match-up tonight starting at 7 p.m.

The Dogies will head into tonight’s match-up following a home loss on September 7th and a forfeit win over Rocky Mountain last week. While Moorcroft will be looking to recover from a blowout at home last week to Hot Springs County.

Newcastle has defeated Moorcroft in all six games the two teams have played since 2010, and they have done so by a decent margin. The teams did not play each other in the 2014 or 2015 seasons.
