Two Men Die in Wyoming Construction Site Accident
JACKSON HOLE, WY. — Two men have died after becoming trapped inside a trench on a construction site outside Jackson Hole,
The Jackson Hole News and Guide reports the two men were inside a trench on a construction site Friday afternoon. The trench was between 12 and 15 feet deep. Officials say the men likely suffocated after the trench collapsed, trapping them.
“This was a very tragic accident, and we extend our deepest condolences to the families of the victims,” Teton County Undersheriff Matt Carr said in a statement.
The men were both working on a residential construction site at 120 S. Indian Springs Drive.
Authorities identified the men as Juan Baez-Sanchez and Victoriano Garcia-Perez. No other information about them has been released.
