Veterans assistance coming to Crook and Weston counties in July

CHEYENNE, Wyo. – A state of Wyoming veterans service officer from the Wyoming Veterans Commission will conduct community outreach services around Wyoming cities throughout July.

Clifford Knesel is available to meet with veterans and their families to discuss state and federal veterans’ benefits, Department of Veterans Affairs claims, or VA healthcare. Mr. Knesel can also help veterans and their families apply for benefits, file claims, or request healthcare.

His office is located at the 551 Running W Dr., in Gillette, and he will be available at the following locations:

  • Sundance: July 7 and 21, at the Sundance Citizen Center, 220 N 2nd Street, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Newcastle: July 9 and 23, at the Newcastle Workforce Center, 22922 US-85, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Most other weekdays, Knesel is available by appointment at his office.
