WCHS releases statement on COVID-19 situation at facility
NEWCASTLE – Weston County Health Services released a statement Tuesday morning verifying a lab-confirmed positive case of COVID-19 in the Weston County Manor. The positive result came from testing. The resident has been hospitalized for care. The statement details that this person is health compromised.
“We have over 50 residents that we care for and our staff are doing everything they can to ensure they are all taken care of. We have many guidelines that we are required to follow from the Wyoming Department of Health and we are following them to a T.” said Executive Assistant, Denice Pisciotti, in the statement.
Testing of 100 percent of the Manor staff and residents is ongoing, and no face-to-face visitation will be allowed at the facility at this time.
